Bobrisky has been released from prison

Renowned crossdresser Idris Okuneye, who is better known as Bobrisky, has been discharged from prison. It can be recalled that on April 5, the EFCC successfully prosecuted Bobrisky for defacing naira notes. Okuneye was accused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on four charges related to the misuse of naira currency.

Bobrisky admitted guilt in front of Justice A.O. Awogboro at the Federal High Court in Lagos, he was granted release on Monday, August 5, 2024. In a video, he was seen enjoying Mohbad’s and Chike’s song "Egwu" with friends. His friends were heard saying, "Congratulations Bobrisky, we're out of prison."
