Boypee refutes allegations that he removed the ‘Ogechi Remix’ video due to Davido’s demands, citing professional reasons

The emerging Nigerian artist, Boypee, has refuted claims that he and his fellow collaborators, Brown Joel and Hyce, removed the video of the remix of their popular song ‘Ogechi’ featuring Davido due to greed on the part of the DMW boss.

After the video uploaded on Davido’s record label, DMW YouTube page was removed, a user with the handle @Johnnyescoba posted a report attributed to Boypee, one of the owners of the version featuring Davido, claiming that the video was taken down because the DMW boss wanted to claim all the royalties from the views.
The user stated in a recent interview, “We had to remove the Ogechi Remix video because Davido wanted to claim all the royalties.” Boypee then refuted the claims by saying, “Who said that? What benefit would I have from that, man? What do you want to achieve with my downfall?”
