Davido has responded to the statement made by Sophia Momodu, the mother of his daughter, regarding his request for joint custody of their daughter, Imade.
Momodu contended: “The Applicant is a musician who frequently travels internationally for his career and may not always be available for our daughter during important moments. The Applicant is also married to another woman and shares a home with her. I am concerned that our daughter’s proper upbringing may not be ensured by someone else.”
Davido has acknowledged Momodu’s concerns and is considering how best to address them in the interest of their daughter’s well-being.
In response to a post on his official X page, Davido expressed, “You consistently bring up the death of my child at every opportunity to remind us of the tragedy that haunts us daily. Imade will see that I fought for her as she grows up. For now, you can have her. P.S.: She will not remain a child forever. Enjoy Imade Aurora Adeleke! Your father loves you!”
