Nigerian-American singer Shaboozey has achieved another milestone in the United States with his popular song ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy).’ According to music monitoring platform Chart Data, the song is now the most streamed song in the U.S in 2024. It has surpassed Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ and Benson Boone’s ‘Beautiful Things’ to become the top-selling song in America this year.
‘Tipsy’ has achieved the distinction of being the longest running #1 single of 2024 on the Hot 100 chart, holding the top spot for 7 weeks. This accomplishment surpasses the previous record set by ‘I Had Some Help’ by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen. In July, Shaboozey joined Beyoncé as one of the only Black artists to simultaneously top both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
