Renowned singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has publicly criticized veteran rapper Vector Tha Viper. Vector referenced ‘Zazu’ in a leaked snippet of a yet-to-be-released song, sparking a negative reaction from Portable. Portable has since used his social media platform to express his disapproval of Vector’s actions.
The artist known for the song ‘Zazu’ asserted that he is more prominent than Vector, emphasizing that Vector is solely a rapper and relies on a singer like himself. Portable also mentioned that he does not see anyone as a trailblazer in the music industry, attributing his success solely to God.
During a recent Instagram live session, he stated, “God is my ultimate guide. Therefore, no one should assert that they paved the way for me. Vector the Viper, in that song where you indirectly criticized me, do you not realize that I am a king? I have influence over both the nation and the streets. Can you control what I control?
“Are you trying to compete with me? Do you think you can surpass me? Are you not a rapper? It is us, the singers, who provide the catchy hooks for your songs. Instead of imitating me, why don’t you reach out to collaborate with me? Can you even come close to me?”
