Afrobeats singer Victony, also known as Anthony Victor, recently discussed the impact that rapper and music executive Olamide had on his career. The ‘Soweto’ artist shared that he initially planned to release an EP, feeling unprepared for an album. However, Olamide encouraged him to release a full-length project, showing support for his music career.
During a recent interview with Channels TV, Victony expressed that he included a shoutout to Olamide on the cover of his debut album ‘Stubborn’s’ as a tribute to the inspiration he provided for the album.
Victony expressed gratitude towards Olamide, citing him as the primary motivator behind his decision to release an album. Initially hesitant and considering a smaller project like an EP, Olamide’s encouragement and support gave Victony the confidence to pursue a full-length album.
