Renowned Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez, born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, has revealed details about his early life. The artist, known for his hit song “Different Pattern,” shared that at the age of 15, his family encouraged him to leave home and work hard to support both himself and his loved ones. Seyi Vibez opened up about this experience during a recent interview with Cool FM in Lagos.

Seyi Vibez revealed, “I departed from home at the age of 15. Life was tough in the ghetto, so I had to pave my own path. Even my own family encouraged me to leave. They advised, ‘Go, don’t perish here. It’s best for you to find success on your own.'”

Seyi Vibez rose to fame after the success of his hit single ‘Chance (Na Ham)’ in 2022. He was awarded the Best Street-Hop Artiste at the 16th Headies Awards in 2023.
