The Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has criticized rising singer Ayo Maff for the “indecent” lyrics in his new song ‘Last Week’.
In the first verse, the singer proudly mentioned using Canadian Loud, a potent synthetic strain of cannabis imported from Canada, on Monday and reaching out to his dealer to replenish his supply on Saturday.
Upon seeing a viral excerpt of the song on X, SP Hundeyin expressed concern about the lyrics.
He mentioned that if half of the young people in prison did not engage in drug abuse, they would not be there.
He pointed out that illegal drug use often leads to criminal activity.
The Public Relations Officer (PPRO) wrote, “What does he do on Mondays and Saturdays? Please help me listen.
“Just like Asa said, there is trouble brewing and nobody seems to be taking action…
“Fact: Half of the young individuals in prison today would not be there if they did not use drugs. Drugs are often the root cause of many problems.
“Eni a wi fun…”,
