AfroNation Portugal 2026 has officially confirmed a star-studded lineup with Asake, Tyla, Wizkid, and Olamide headlining the festival. The event is set to run from July 3rd to 5th, 2026, on the stunning Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, Algarve.

The announcement is part of a broader wave of excitement as AfroNation returns with multiple stages and dozens of artists. Other big names confirmed include Gunna, Mariah the Scientist, Niska, Bien, Awilo Longomba, Darkoo, Young Jonn, and others set to light up the Lit Stage among festival goers.

Festival Dates and Location

AfroNation 2026 will take place on July 3, 4, and 5, 2026. The venue, Praia da Rocha in Portimão, is known for its wide sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife. Festival officials promise an immersive beachside experience with several stages, art installations, and cultural activations. 

Main Headliners and Unique Draws

Asake returns as one of the most electrifying live performers, Tyla makes her headline debut at AfroNation, while Wizkid brings his global super-star status and Olamide adds veteran energy. Their participation guarantees a mix of new hits, classics, and cross-genre moments.

Fans are particularly excited about performances across stages devoted to different vibes: the main Lit Stage, the Piano People stage, and a new “Afrotronic” stage showcasing Afro House, Afrotech, and Amapiano sounds.

There will be several ticket options: General Admission, VIP, and Golden circle. VIP and Golden tickets typically offer premium vantage points, exclusive amenities, and access to upgraded lounges. Pre-sale begins October 9, with general on-sale following October 10.
