Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage clarified that she is not in a romantic relationship with Wizkid. According to Guardian Nigeria, she said the rumours are false.
She said she and Wizkid are friends and that people have interpreted their friendship wrongly. She said her work includes music collaborations and shows together, and nothing more.

They performed together on songs like “Malo” and appeared in public together. Some fans saw chemistry in posts and assumed more. Tiwa said she ignored them because she has grown a thick skin.
