Prominent Nigerian figures have gathered at the location of musician Davido’s wedding to Chioma Rowland. Among the dignitaries in attendance at the ceremony in Victoria Island, Lagos are former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Governor Godwin Obaseki, Governor Ademola Adeleke, and Udom Emmanuel, among others. The wedding, known as ‘CHIVIDO2024’, is currently a trending topic and has attracted celebrities, politicians, and dignitaries from various backgrounds.
Davido had proposed to Chioma in 2019 and referred to her as his wife for the first time in 2023. However, in June 2024, the singer surprised his fans by revealing that his wedding would take place in a few days.
