Eleven individuals were killed and five others were injured in a landmine accident caused by terrorists in Borno.

 

 

 

 

 

At least 11 people have been killed and five others injured in two separate incidents involving vehicles driving over landmines in the Gamboru-Ngala and Dikwa local government areas of Borno State in the past week.

Among the casualties are nine members of the Civilian Joint Task Force who were killed on Saturday, April 27 in Gamboru-Ngala, and two civilians who died on Saturday, May 4 in Dikwa.

The incident occurred when the personnel were leaving Ngala on Saturday afternoon and their vehicle drove over a landmine at the outskirts of the town.
